Manage your active plans, top-ups, and data usage.
The validity duration of your SiM Claire eSIM plan depends on the specific plan you purchase. Here's how it works: Fixed plans: These come with set data limits (e.g., 5GB, 20GB) and valid for a specific period (e.g., 7 days, 30 days). The plan will expire once the data is used up or the validity period ends. Unlimited plans: These plans offer unlimited data with a fixed validity period, such as 30 days or up to 180 days. After the validity ends, your eSIM will stop working unless you choose to top-up or purchase a new plan. You'll receive a notification when you're nearing the end of your data limit or when your plan is about to expire. You can also check your plan validity details in "My eSIMs & Top Up" section once you log in.
Yes, most modern smartphones support multiple eSIM profiles but with a few important limitations. Here's how it works: You can store multiple eSIM profiles on your phone (usually 58, depending on the model). However, you can only have one or two eSIMs active at a time, depending on your device. You can switch between stored eSIMs through your phone's SIM settings, without reinstalling. If you're planning multiple trips, you can install eSIMs in advance and activate them as needed Avoid deleting your eSIM, as it can only be reinstalled on the same device up to five times.
Yes! SiM Claire eSIMs generally support hotspot/tethering. You can share your data connection with other devices like a laptop or tablet by enabling personal hotspot on your phone. However, please note: Hotspot usage will consume your plan's data allowance In rare cases, hotspot functionality may be affected by: Your device model The local mobile network you're connected to Because of this, we cannot guarantee hotspot support in all countries or on all devices but it usually works without issue.
While hotspot/tethering is generally supported by all SiM Claire eSIMs, there are a few rare scenarios where it might not work as expected: Device Type Incompatibility Some phones, especially older models or certain dual SIM configurations, may restrict or limit hotspot usage on eSIMs Local Network Restrictions The network in your destination country may block or throttle hotspot/tethering Not all mobile operators allow full hotspot support on data-only profiles Connection Instability Frequent disconnections may occur due to: Battery saver or data saver mode Poor local network signal Incomplete APN setup Troubleshooting Tips: Restart your device Toggle airplane mode ON and then OFF Ensure mobile data and data roaming are enabled Check and manually enter APN (internet) if needed Disable battery/data saver mode temporarily If the issue persists, contact Please speak to our support agent team with your device model, location, and ICCID we'll be happy to help!
Unfortunately, you can't give away your leftover data. SiM Claire eSIMs are tied to the device they were installed on. Once an eSIM is installed: It cannot be transferred to another phone or user Even if you have unused data, others cannot use your eSIM or install it on their devices If you're planning to revisit the same destination and your eSIM is still within its validity period, you can continue using the leftover data no need to buy a new one. This is especially useful for frequent travelers returning to the same country or region within the validity period.
SiM Claire plans cannot be extended beyond their original validity period. However, you can still stay connected by: Topping up your eSIM with a new plan. If you're planning to stay longer, we recommend selecting a plan with a longer validity or buying a new eSIM closer to your departure date.
