When you scan it, your phone automatically: Retrieves the eSIM Profile Points to the carrier's SM-DP+ (Subscription Manager Data Preparation) server and pulls down your plan. Configures Network Settings Sets up the correct ICCID, authentication keys, and network parameters without a physical SIM. Associates Your Plan to Your Device Registers the eSIM under your account so you can manage it alongside any physical SIMs. Please ensure your device has a strong, stable network connection when scanning the eSIM QR code. How It's Used:
1. Open your device's Cellular/Mobile settings.
2. Choose Add Cellular Plan (iOS) or Add SIM/eSIM (Android). Alternatively, just search for 'SIM' or 'eSIM'.
3. Scan the QR code you received by your registered email address or displayed on screen.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize installation and enable your plan.
If you exceed your daily data limit of 2GB/day on an unlimited plan with SiM Claire, your data speed will be temporarily reduced to 500 kb/s, but your connection will remain active. This means you can still use essential apps like browsing, messaging, and social media, but at slower speeds for the rest of the day. You will regain high-speed data allowance the following day when your daily limit is refreshed. It renews every 24 hours from the time of activation. Please note, the exact speed may vary depending on the network conditions in your area.
